What your choir will leave with
Performance-ready songs they've built from the ground up.
Vocal techniques they can use without me in the room.
Confidence built individually and together.
A shared experience they'll talk about for years.
what it typically looks like?
Friday (optional)
I arrive, I meet your choir. We might do a couple of hours together: learning some choruses, getting to know each other, settling in. Or we keep it relaxed and social. Either way, the tone is set.
Saturday
This is the main day. I'll have sent songs in advance and the choir will know the songs to about 70%. On Saturday, I bring them from 70% to performance-ready.
Techniques. Confidence. The vocal tools to really pull the songs out. And then in the evening your choir leads a concert. I'll direct the songs we've worked on and am able to sing solo if required. Then choir sing the rest. It's a celebration concert, and it's always brilliant.
Sunday
A shorter session. Reflective, often churchlike. We might go to church together, or sing at a service, or I run another session that slows everything down and lets people take stock of what they've learned. Finish around 1pm.
